What is API relay?

(Advanced users can skip this)

A relay service can be understood as a bridge between you and the target AI service provider. Through a relay layer like APIshop, you can access the models and tools you need in a more direct and stable way.

Key Advantages

No complex network configuration required

You can access and use AI services directly without having to wrestle with a complicated network setup. This significantly lowers the barrier to entry, allowing more developers to get started faster.

Dedicated operations and maintenance support

  • Monitor service status 24/7
  • Address user issues promptly
  • Regularly optimize service quality
  • Provide ongoing technical support

Costs are easier to control

Through scaled operations and cost optimization, we can offer more practical integration options, making AI coding tools more affordable to adopt.

One-stop access to multiple tools

One account can be used with a variety of common tools:

  • Claude Code
  • Codex
  • Gemini CLI
  • More tools will continue to be supported in the future

How It Works

Your computer ←→ APIshop relay station ←→ AI provider
            (direct access) (overseas service)

As a middleware layer, APIshop mainly handles the following:

  1. Receive your request
  2. Forward it to the corresponding AI service provider
  3. Return the result to you

The entire process is usually transparent to you, and the user experience will be kept as consistent as possible with the target service.

Security

⚠️ Warning

We do not store your code content. The API Key is used only for authentication; data is encrypted in transit and handled in compliance with data privacy protection requirements.

Ready to use out of the box—that's our service goal too

We want to make AI coding tools easier for every developer to use. Whether you are:

  • Individual developers
  • Startup teams
  • Enterprise users

You can find an integration method that suits you on APIshop.
